FAA / Airspace Regulations

Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) manufactured through or in connection with the Aedes Network are subject to regulation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). All operators, pilots, and users of UAVs are solely responsible for compliance with applicable FAA rules and regulations, including but not limited to:

• FAA Part 107 (Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems) • UAS registration requirements • Airspace authorization and LAANC procedures • Remote ID requirements • Operational restrictions near airports, restricted airspace, and populated areas

Nothing on this Platform or in any Aedes materials constitutes legal, regulatory, or operational guidance regarding FAA compliance. Consult a qualified aviation attorney or FAA-certified professional for compliance guidance specific to your use case.

Export Controls — ITAR & EAR

Drone technology, components, software, and technical data may be subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 C.F.R. Parts 120-130, administered by the U.S. Department of State, and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), 15 C.F.R. Parts 730-774, administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS).

Unauthorized export, re-export, transfer, or disclosure of controlled technology is a serious federal offense. All Platform users are solely responsible for:

• Determining whether any ITAR or EAR controls apply to their activities • Obtaining all necessary export licenses, authorizations, or exemptions • Ensuring that all foreign national access to controlled technical data is properly authorized • Complying with end-use and end-user restrictions

Aedes does not provide export control compliance guidance. Users engaged in defense-related production or working with foreign persons or entities must consult qualified export control counsel before participating in any Aedes production activity.

Defense Procurement & Government Contracting

To the extent any Aedes production activities relate to U.S. government contracts or defense procurement, users are solely responsible for compliance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), security requirements, and program-specific restrictions.

Aedes does not hold government contracts and does not represent that its production network meets any specific government contractor qualification, security clearance level, or defense procurement standard. Organizations seeking to use Aedes production output in connection with government contracts must independently verify that such use is permissible under applicable procurement rules.

Product Liability & Safety

UAVs and UAV components are mechanical and electronic systems that involve inherent risks of malfunction, failure, and unintended operation. The Aedes Network does not warrant or guarantee the safety, performance, or fitness for any particular purpose of any drone or component produced through the network.
